Encore Talent Solutions is seeking a highly skilled and seasoned Senior Project Manager with a specialized background in Application and Infrastructure management for corporate applications to join our team in Cincinnati. You’ll work at the intersection of business and technology, managing transformative projects that involve network and server upgrades, software implementations, and PC deployments. Key Responsibilities:
- Leadership in Project Strategy and Execution: Develop, direct, and implement detailed project plans for high-priority initiatives, ensuring on-time delivery within budget constraints while maximizing impact on organizational goals.
- Stakeholder and Partner Coordination: Serve as the primary liaison across IT teams, executive stakeholders, and internal partners, defining project requirements, conducting feasibility assessments, and securing stakeholder buy-in for success.
- Comprehensive Project Oversight: Manage all implementation phases—including resource allocation, change control, risk assessment, testing, documentation, and training—across multiple, varied projects to meet diverse business needs.
- Budget and Timeline Management: Execute rigorous budget oversight, ensuring fiscal responsibility while meeting or exceeding project milestones and objectives.
Qualifications:
- Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, MIS, Business Administration, or a related field; PMP certification preferred.
- Depth of Experience: 10+ years in project management with demonstrated expertise in both Application and Infrastructure projects, particularly in environments with complex corporate applications.
- Industry and Methodology Expertise: Proficient in project management best practices (PMBOK) and familiar with IT methodologies such as Waterfall, Agile, and standards like ISO, CMM, Six Sigma.
- Advanced Project Management Tools: Proficiency in MS Project and project tools (risk and issue tracking, SLIM Estimate, PlanView), with a strong understanding of advanced metrics, control mechanisms, and audit processes.
